BINI to perform in Osaka, Tokyo at Summer Sonic 2026

MANILA, Philippines — P-pop girl group BINI will perform in both Osaka and Tokyo at Summer Sonic 2026, marking a two-day appearance at the festival’s 25th anniversary edition. They will join fellow Filipino acts SB19 and Filipino-Japanese artist Ena Mori in this year’s lineup.

BINI is scheduled to take the stage on Aug. 14 at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka and on Aug. 16 at Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, according to organizers. The group was included in the festival’s eighth wave of artist announcements on Friday, which also added acts such as December 10, Real McCoy, Thea Austin, formerly of SNAP!, and Crystal Waters.

In Tokyo, BINI and December 10 will perform under the “Eurodance Paradise” segment at the Beach Stage. Organizers said more stage details and additional artists will be announced after Japan’s Golden Week.

Summer Sonic, one of Japan’s largest annual music festivals, is held simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka and features a rotating lineup of international and Japanese artists across rock, pop and electronic genres. This year’s edition runs from Aug. 14 to 16.

SB19 is scheduled to perform on Aug. 15 in Tokyo, while Ena Mori will appear on Aug. 14 at the Spotify Stage in Tokyo.

Early lottery-based ticket reservations are open until May 29, organizers said.

BINI’s appearance at Summer Sonic follows a series of international milestones, including a performance at Coachella and recognition at the Billboard Women in Music in the United States.
