Jetsetter and philanthropist Valentina Anstey and Col. Ben Anstey, who are based in the United States, hosted a delightful floral luau despedida luncheon at their beautiful family resort in Bamban Forest Park in Bamban, Tarlac. The sprawling, forest-like atmosphere provided a breathtaking backdrop for the gathering.
The event brought together close friends and members of the Profile Asia group for a warm and memorable send-off celebration. Guests enjoyed an array of lovingly prepared Kapampangan dishes at the buffet, showcasing the culinary flair and rich flavors the region is known for — favorites long cherished by the Profile Asia group and their friends.
The luncheon began on a meaningful note with a solemn Mass officiated by Fr. Greg Vega, setting a heartfelt and reflective tone for the occasion before transitioning into a lively and elegant meal.
As the afternoon unfolded, the atmosphere became even more festive. Guests took to the dance floor, while others shared their talents through song performances, adding a personal and joyful touch to the celebration. Laughter, music and camaraderie filled the air, making the event truly special.
The highlight of the gathering came toward the end, when the song “That’s What Friends Are For” was dedicated to Valentina and Col. Ben. The heartfelt tribute moved nearly everyone in attendance to tears, a testament to the deep affection and admiration their friends hold for the couple.
It was a beautiful despedida party filled with love, gratitude and unforgettable memories.
