Spain sightings spark fresh buzz over Bea Alonzo-Vincent Co wedding rumors

MANILA, Philippines — Social media posts showing actress Dimples Romana in Madrid and unverified photos of Bea Alonzo’s family in Spain have reignited speculation that the actress’ rumored wedding to businessman Vincent Co could still be happening this week.

The posts emerged days after online rumors claimed the supposed wedding plans of Alonzo and Co had allegedly encountered complications linked to a reported prenuptial agreement. Neither Alonzo nor Co has publicly addressed the speculation.

Romana earlier shared videos on Instagram showing her with husband Boyet Ahmee in Spain, including clips taken in front of the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid and at a public square with the Spanish flag in the background.

Ahmee also posted a similar video on his account with the caption “Day 1 #spanishbreadtrip.”

At the same time, photos allegedly showing members of Alonzo’s family at an airport circulated on social media, urging fans to speculate that preparations for the rumored wedding were still underway. The authenticity of the images and the exact date the family photos were taken, however, have not been independently verified.

Reports about a possible wedding in Spain first surfaced earlier this year after wedding banns bearing the names of Alonzo and Co were reportedly published by a parish in Manila. Entertainment reports later claimed the ceremony was being planned for mid-May in Spain, where Alonzo owns an apartment and has residency.

In recent days, online discussions intensified after entertainment insiders alleged that disagreements over prenup provisions and family-related matters may have delayed or complicated the couple’s plans. Other reports also claimed concerns over publicity and Alonzo’s high-profile career may have contributed to the situation, though these claims remain unconfirmed.

Despite the speculation, supporters of the actress pointed to the presence of close friends and relatives in Spain as a possible indication that the wedding could still proceed. Others continued to wait for an official statement from either Alonzo or Co.

Romana and Alonzo have maintained a longtime friendship since working together in the television series “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” and later appearing in the hit film “One More Chance.” The two actresses have frequently shared photos and videos of their off-screen gatherings on social media over the years.
