MANILA, Philippines — P-pop sensation BINI attended an NBA game featuring the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday (Manila time), as the team hosted Filipino Heritage Night at the Intuit Dome.
The Clippers took on the Portland Trail Blazers during the celebration, which showcased Filipino culture and drew strong support from fans inside the arena and across social media.
Photos shared on the Clippers’ official social media accounts showed the eight-member group — Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena — standing at center court before the game while holding customized jerseys bearing their names.
“BINI in the building for Filipino Heritage Night,” the Clippers wrote in the caption.
The group also posted images from the event on their own social media accounts, saying, “We’re here and ready!! So excited to celebrate Filipino Heritage Night with the #ClipperNation! Can’t wait for the game!! Let’s gooooo @laclippers !!”
NBA Philippines, meanwhile, shared photos of the group with Raymond Townsend — the first Filipino-American player in the NBA — and the L.A. Clippers Dance Squad, the team's official dance team.
Earlier in the day, BINI members were seen meeting fans outside the venue, posing for photos and greeting supporters ahead of the game.
Dubbed the “Nation’s Girl Group,” BINI is known for hits such as “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Karera,” “Lagi,” “Cherry On Top” and “Blink Twice.”
The group is set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 10 and April 17, becoming the first all-Filipino girl group to appear on the festival’s stage. They will also grace the Grammy Museum's “Global Spin Live” for a special performance and to promote their upcoming EP “Signals.”
