GMA News reaffirms ‘Serbisyong Totoo’ with 2026 relaunch

MANILA, Philippines — GMA News on Monday announced a renewed commitment to its “Serbisyong Totoo” mandate, reinforcing its push for truthful, balanced and credible journalism as it adapts to a rapidly evolving media landscape.

At the center of the initiative is the continued use of its long-standing brand promise, “Serbisyong Totoo,” which underscores its role as a trusted source of news and information for Filipinos in the country and abroad.

“Anchoring this renewed direction is the defining statement, ‘Walang kinikilingan. Walang pinoprotektahan. Noon at ngayon, Serbisyong Totoo,’ reflecting GMA News’ unwavering dedication to impartiality, integrity, and public service — values that have defined its journalism across generations,” the organization said in a statement.

“With over 1,000 journalists, staff, and crew across platforms, GMA News is committed to reporting relevant news and providing serbisyong totoo to Filipinos within and beyond the Philippines,” the statement added.

Its flagship newscast “24 Oras,” anchored by Mel Tiangco, Emil Sumangil and Vicky Morales, remains a key pillar of its television presence. Other programs include “24 Oras Weekend,” “Saksi,” “Balitanghali” on GTV, “State of the Nation,” “Dobol B TV,” and various regional newscasts.

Regional coverage is provided through programs such as “One North Central Luzon,” “Balitang Bisdak,” “One Western Visayas,” and “One Mindanao,” catering to audiences outside Metro Manila.

On radio, GMA operates 21 stations nationwide, delivering breaking news and special coverage.

Digital platforms also play a central role, with GMA News Online and its social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X and TikTok providing real-time updates and verified information.

The network said the renewed direction aims to maintain a familiar and trusted identity while evolving with audience needs.

“GMA News remains committed to informing, empowering, and serving Filipinos with clear and truthful reporting—noon at ngayon, Serbisyong Totoo,” it said.
