The Kapamilya Big Four of “PBB Collab 2.0” reflected on their four-month stay inside the “Bahay ni Kuya” and the changes that followed during a recent Spotlight press conference.
Fourth big placer Miguel Vergara said the experience marked a shift in how audiences see him, after years of being known primarily for his on-screen roles.
“I’ve been in the industry for quite a while, so people have only seen my shows and the characters I play. But when I entered PBB, I wanted them to see ‘Miguel’ — who I am as myself,” he said.
Third big placer Joaquin Arce described his time inside the house as a period of reflection, noting the value of appreciating everyday moments. “PBB really teaches you to appreciate the things you have, every single little thing.”
Arce added that the experience helped shape a more introspective version of himself.
Second big placer Krystal Mejes recalled feeling overwhelmed upon returning home after the “Big Night,” as she began to process everything that had happened.
“When I got home after the Big Night, I used my phone. After talking to my family, I started scrolling and couldn’t sleep… there were moments when I would just stare blankly because I was trying to process everything. It was so overwhelming,” she said.
Big winner Lella Ford said the experience affirmed her goal of becoming an actress, describing her time in the house as a step toward being recognized beyond her family background.
Ford also said the group has remained close since leaving the house, making time to see one another despite their schedules.
“Every time we see each other, it’s just so much fun because we were used to being together 24/7 inside the house. It was so good seeing everyone,” she said.
The four former housemates said they are now navigating new opportunities following their stint on the show.
