“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” sends Mario and Luigi on a cosmic adventure in their latest big-screen outing.
Chris Pratt and Charlie Day return as the brothers, joined by Donald Glover as Yoshi.
Returning cast members include Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, and Keegan-Michael Key as Toad. Brie Larson voices Rosalina, making her debut on the big screen.
In the film, Mario and Luigi travel into space to rescue Rosalina, the protector of the cosmos, from Bowser Jr. Alongside Princess Peach, Toad, and Yoshi, the brothers navigate colorful worlds and unexpected challenges.
The movie introduces several characters to the big screen, including Pikmin, R.O.B., and Birdo. Settings range from the prehistoric landscapes of Prehistoric Falls to the whimsical Honeyhive Galaxy, adding a visual sense of scale and adventure.
“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” opens in Philippine cinemas today, Black Saturday.
