Thermage Philippines marked two milestones in one event with the launch of the first Thermage Lift Awards, a recognition program that honored 10 Filipina changemakers while also spotlighting 20 years of Thermage Lift as a pioneer in non-invasive skin tightening.
Held March 21 at the Garden Pavilion of Grand Hyatt Manila in BGC, the ceremony gathered women from diverse fields whose work has had an impact on their communities and industries. “Lift,” after all, stands for “Leading Inspirations, Forging Triumphs” — a fitting theme for an initiative that sought to celebrate leadership, influence and meaningful service.
Serving as committee members for the inaugural awards were broadcaster Karen Davila and beauty queen Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz, Thermage Philippines’ brand ambassador. Also present at the event were Solta Medical marketing manager Karina Laurena and business manager Justin Reodica, while Solta Medical regional head for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia Alistair McKeon delivered a video message. Issa Litton hosted the program.
The 10 Thermage Lift awardees represented a wide range of advocacies and professions: chemical engineer Mary Jane Al Mahdi, social entrepreneur Anne Marie Cunanan, community wellness leader Magi de Leon, educator Olivia Caling, Peta’s Maribel Legarda, 2KK founder Christianne Santos, Harvard Business School OPM Philippines chapter chairman and founder Pinky Tobiano, media personality and The Manila Times columnist Cory Quirino, autism awareness advocate Rhiozeel Pomer and oral surgeon Cristine-Marie Miller Marzan.
Among the evening’s most moving stories was that of Pomer, founder of the AI-powered platform Bridges Autism. A mother of two children in the spectrum, she said her own parenting challenges led her to create a tool that could help families better understand autism and track their children’s progress.
The evening made clear that while Thermage may be known for skin tightening, this particular celebration was also about something deeper: lifting women whose stories, work and leadership continue to create real impact.
